I just wanted to fill you in on a little project we’ve been working on around here for the last couple months.
To be honest, I was bored with the idea of having a standard email newsletter. Sure, it’s nice for sharing some stuff from the blog that people may have missed, or to make occasional announcements when we have new products. And I’ll definitely keep the regular monthly newsletter for that stuff.
But I really wanted to make a newsletter that was actually useful. Something I would want to subscribe to!
So we’ve decided to launch something new: a weekly sewing tip, delivered by email! Each Tuesday, we’ll send out a new tip to the subscribers, on a huge variety of sewing topics, from organizing your sewing room to pretreating fabric to stitching tricks.
I think it’s a really cool way to learn a bit and keep inspired throughout the whole year, without having to actively research. I think of it as a little weekly reminder to try something new.
We’re calling it Snippets, and we’ll be launching it on Monday, so stay tuned for details!

Sweet!!
Love the idea and cannot wait for this.
I look forward to my weekly Snippet :)

This makes me so happy; thank you!
Oh, now that IS a great idea :)!
I would love to see tips about sewing needles. types, reasons some work better then others, what the different ones will do to the right and wrong fabric.
