I am really excited to tell you guys about our brand new studio space! It’s in a lovely brick industrial building in SE Portland, a corner space with an entire wall of windows. The place is so bright that it glows!
We’re still getting set up, of course. But here’s what we’ve got so far.

What kind of pattern table is that? It look like it has a bar like a hair salon chair to make it taller or shorter (which would be awesome since i am pretty short!) or maybe just a foot rest!
It’s a drafting table that I bought from an architecture firm that was getting rid of a bunch of them. It does move up and down, and also pivots so the top can be folded down when not in use.

It’s gorgeous!! I was really looking forward to getting a peek at it… you really ended up in a perfect spot! For some reason I think that pointy corner of the room is kind of adorable too, what a funny shaped space. :)
yes, me too! I’m going to put some comfy lounging chairs in the corner when I can find some affordable ones.
What a great space! It must be so much more inspiring to be able to sew in a space like that. Here we are considering rebuiling our garage and turning it into an atelier. I can get completely giddy to think of having all that space for me and my sewing..
