Valentine’s Day From Colette Patterns

I was toying with the idea of doing a special shoot just for Valentine’s Day, with the Nutmeg pattern. But once Rachel and Anja said they were interested, it was a done deal. I invited Jade, did a wee bit of preparing, and the result is a collection of some of the prettiest pictures ever.

All of these photos were shot by Anja of clever nettle in my little studio. It was so much fun seeing all this come together so quickly. These ladies are all beyond talented.

If you want to see more, I posted a larger versions of the photos and a bunch of extra shots in the forum!

Photos by Anja / clever nettle
Modeled by Jade and Rachel
Styled by Sarai and Caitlin

What truly beautiful photos. I love that last one. The colours are gorgeous and so nice to see porcelain skin instead of orange spray tan. Needless to say, the lingerie is beautiful.

I saw these on Anja’s blog yesterday evening, and I think my jaw hit the floor! Utterly gorgeous–the set design and Colette Patterns pieces compliment each other beautifully. Not to mention you got a couple of stunning gals to model it! Beautiful and inspiring! :)

What a beautiful photo shoot! I think I may just have to toddle over to the shop and buy this pattern for my Valentine’s outfit. Now I’m glad we’ll be celebrating it a week later so the pattern can have time to get to me and get made!

Oh, and I WANT those silver shoes the pixie-cut-ed redhead model was wearing!!! Does she know if they’re still available anywhere?

The shoes are actually part of my “photoshoot wardrobe” collection, i.e. cute shoes that aren’t actually in my size. I believe they’re BCBG, but they’re definitely not new, so they may be hard to find.

I feel you though, I’m looking for a pair of silver shoes myself right now. :)

Gorgeous set and beautiful models! Makes me want to lounge around all day in my dainties. Is that floral backdrop a vintage bar cloth piece or new yardage? It really makes everything on set pop. Also, it appears the loveseat is the long lost sister of the wingback in my room…very nice. Thanks for the lovely inspiration, ladies!

The backdrop is indeed a piece of vintage bark cloth! I’ve had it for a while, so I’m really glad it got to make a debut.

I think you’ve just invented a new, higher form of “adult entertainment”. Seriously sexy photos for crafters!
