Tweed is nice, and probably overlooked in this era of quick sewing projects. But with the right interfacing, lining, trim, top-stitching and buttons, tweed looks wonderful in a jacket (as you’ve shown). I’m thinking the best stuff comes from Italy.
OOoooh nice – isn’t it funny how tweed never really goes out of fashion as long ad it’s used with a classic or up-dated look???!!!
Which reminds me – I have just the pattern for a Tweed jacket – now where did I put it.. ot should I just check the patterns @ Colette??? A gal can never have too many patterns….can she??
