What kind of fabric did you use? I used 100% cotton poplin.
How did you decide to reflect your personal style in the pattern? I wanted a lovely bright dress to cheer me up on the dull, rainy days of autumn and I’ve always been drawn to reds and pinks. I think the Parfait dress works really well in a plain colour (although to be honest I love every version I’ve ever seen!). I’m a sucker for polka dots which is why I chose the red and white polka dot buttons.
What thoughts do you have about the project? The Parfait dress is my favourite of all the Colette Patterns as it’s such a beautiful and flattering design. I’ve made two versions of it now and I’m sure I’ll make more!
Thanks, Tabatha!

That is indeed a lovely version of the Parfait dress! So cheery! Makes me want to make another one too!
That fits you so well! Nice job!
Love it! And the polka dot buttons are just the thing to add a bit of pizazz to a solid piece.
What a flattering fit!! Makes me want to make one, if only to pretend that I’ll get similar results.
ooh that is lovely, the fit looks good. Did you need to make any adjustments to the pattern to get that fit?
Thanks all for the lovely comments – I’m really touched! Jennifer – I didn’t make any adjustments at all! I’m just very lucky that it fits me so well :-) I plan to make many more of these!
love it! So slimming on you! And what an amazing fit!!
Well Done!
Love it! The Parfait was never a pattern that caught my eye before, as I thought it wouldn’t work on my body type, but this version makes me want to try it!
How pretty, now I want that pattern too!
