Great site! I liked the dark bamboo-cotton denim; I’ve knit with that blend and love the softness. But then I saw the wonderful chiffons – Sheer Polka Dot Chiffon Fabric Turquoise
– and I wondered if you could underline the chiffon and use it? I’ve never done that before.

Gosh – what a generous offer and amazing choice of fabrics…swoon! I’m torn between most of them, but then my eye was caught by the ‘Lace Topped Grey Wool’, which would be warm (lined obviously!!) for the Christmas season, and I think could be glammed up and played down appropriately for lots of things. …Ok, mostly glammed up…!

Actually, most of all, I’d just be fascinated to see this fabric in the flesh, to get a sense of what it’s like and how it drapes, moves, catches the light.

The Cloud 9 organic fabric in ‘Petal Pusher’ is also a wonderfully crisp pattern, although I’m not quite sure of it’s weight on the website.

My favourite fabric is Dusty Violet First Impression Velveteen Fabric by Anna Maria Horner. So pretty!

I would probably use this as a chance to get some Japanese imports. I especially like Melody Miller Bees Moths Dragonflies and Flowers for a colorful Peony.

Huh, what an incredibly tough choice. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another online shop with quite that variety of fabric – especially the prints, so lovely!

So, I guess my first choice would be the Nani Iro Molly Cloth Blue Floral. The color is so beautiful and I have a thing for florals lately! I’d pair it with a teal cummerbund belt to match the flowers. :)

Well, honestly I still want to make Crepe first and the Nani Iro dark blue double gauze would be absolutely perfect for that – do you think it would work for Peony too? If not then perhaps the Liberty vintage flowers for a cute vintage look.

Not sure what type of fabric can be used, but I would want to use Greenfield Hill Voile- Cranberry Mrs Aster by Denyse Schmidt with Blush Pink Designer Cotton Voile as the contrasting belt using version 1, although it would probably look quite nice in version 2 also.

Definitely the Embroidered Dot Dupioni Silk Fabric Berry! I’m crazy about dots, and this one is a really pretty color for fall.

I think a lot of the Amy Butler designs would be great choices. Something in a fall color, too…

ahhh so many choices!! i think i would make 2 versions… one in the quarter polka dot cotton corduroy (http://www.hartsfabric.com/quarter-polka-dot-cotton-corduroy-fabric54492.html), lined with red bemberg rayon. my second version would be the pumpkin colored 100% wool (http://www.hartsfabric.com/wool-fabric58985.html) lined in something fun, like slate blue!

Tough decision, but I think I’d go with the Yellow Plaid Italian Silk Chiffon Fabric. I attempt to not fall into any sort of ‘clothing rut’ with every garment I make. I love yellow this year (but own no yellow made-by-me items) and I don’t own a single plaid dress, so this would be a two birds, one stone sort of thing. :)

I think the Hemp Silk Fashion Fabric Cranberry would make a lovely Chrstmas version.

I love the idea of the Peony dress in a silk cotton sateen. I think I would go with chocolate brown with grass details: either a contrast waistband or some kind of applique, or both!

I think the dress would look great in the Abstract Silk Georgette Print Fabric Charcoal.

I am actually planning on making the Peony dress so I can wear it at my friend’s wedding next year in October. My friend and I are super into Halloween, so with his approval, I decided that I would dress as a Mother Nature-inspired wedding guest, complete with fruit accented fascinator! The Leaf Dupioni Silk Curtain Fabric Green would really make it perfect. I would make the belt in the Silk Cotton Voile Pumpkin.
