“I would love to see the Peony in a fun print like the Ivory Floral Nani Iro Double Gauze Cotton Fabric but I also saw a silk cotton satteen in aubergine and some orange dotted swiss cottons that looked amazing!”
Thanks everyone, and with such a great response, look for more giveaways from the future!

For me it would be this beautiful print to give the dress an even more retro feel.

I imagine this dress in the Nani Iro blue floral double gauze, for a both wintery and joyful look. However, it might need underlining too…

I’ve no experience whatsoever sewing dresses for myself, but I’d love to try linen, for example the cross woven in black and white, since I’m way too chicken to risk prints ;)

I would make a Peony (either long sleeve or no sleeve) out of the Black Silk Chiffon Eyelet Fabric. I can’t decide if I would line it in black or in some jazzy-poppy color so that it just peeks through the eyelet. Maybe a fuschia or a neon blue color. This would make for a FABULOUS winter-season LBD. LBD with a little somethin’ extra.

Hands down I would have to try one of the Eco Fashion Fabrics. I’ve enver worked with something so earth friendly…but have been dying to. Perhaps this one:

Fabulous giveaway! But so hard to choose. I’ve already made a summer Peony in cotton, and I have it in my mind that I’d like to experiment with making a winter Peony with some kind of upholstery fabric, maybe a jacquard or damask. I think that this might work: . The Peony is so simple and elegant that you can experiment with a huge range of fabrics.

I’m so glad to come across this giveaway!
I have been eyeing your patterns for several months, and Peony would make the perfect “Photographer Dress” I am in need of.
Although I am tempted with Hart’s “Embroidered Floral Silk Eyelet Fashion Fabric Red”, I would probably make a comfortable wardrobe staple out of “Tercel Challis Charcoal” first.
But with $100 …who knows? Perhaps I will have a photographer “uniform” AND a delicious dress hanging in my closet!

The hemp denim is really nice… almost looks like chambray shirting fabric from the photo.
I am also in love with some of those Liberty prints, but they are probably too lightweight for the Peony dress.

Imagine the ‘Rayon Challis Fabric Fashion Black and White Floral’ made into the Peony!
If I add a pair of black heels and a black beaded necklace, I’d have the perfect look for one of my monthly girlfriend get-togethers; if I add black boots, belt, and scarf, I’ve got extraordinarily fun fall-wear!
Yes, yes… This is making my mind go crazy with ideas!
