Free pattern roundup: Quick gifts for your fellow sewists

free-pattern-from-craftsy

As part of our partnership this month, the folks over at Craftsy asked me to round up some free patterns for you guys.

These patterns are from their marketplace, where people can submit their own projects and patterns. Some of them cost money (and the designer gets all of the sale, which is really cool), but many of them are free.

I discovered quite a few that would make excellent last-minute gifts for other sewing ladies in your life, or you could just make them for yourself. I particularly like the organizers, since I’m always looking for ways to get my supplies under control.

If these colorful fabrics aren’t quite your style, just try imagining them in your own palette of choice. I can see a whole suite of organizers and accessories in denim, another hard-wearing twill, ticking, or canvas.

This post is brought to you in partnership with Craftsy, our sponsor this month.

Thank-you for the time and energy to put into your blog. I look forward to receiving it in my e-mail. And thank-you and your E/ees for the great patterns and the sew-a-longs. You all have a great holiday.

I am thankful for Craftsy, which makes it easy for me to sell patterns and not charge me a fee. Did you folks read that? Yes. No fee sales. Yes, I have free patterns too, but that’s not the point.

Get out there and make something and put it up there! Really! Jump in, the water is really really fine!

Thanks for the project ideas! Too late for me for Xmas, but good for any occasion. Thinking about gifts for my 9 year old sewing students!
